Candidates for PRESIDENT
Must have served a minimum of one year on the Association Executive Council. If no qualified candidates apply, any member who has served on the Association Board of Directors, either elected or appointed, may run. The President is the chief elected officer of the Association. The President presides at meetings of the Board of Directors, and serves as ex-officio member of all committees except the Nominating and Election Committee. The President sees that all legally adopted resolutions and policy statements ofthe Board of Directors are carried out.

Candidates for VP - ADMINISTRATION
Must have served a minimum of one year on the Association Board of Directors or one year on the chapter Board of Directors as an elected officer. In addition, candidates should have solid business backgrounds.

The VP Operations serves on the Executive Council and manages Association operations and the implementation of Board approved policies and procedures. The Vice-President, Operations sets goals, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that Association objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization. May provide staff support to the Board of Directors and Committees. The Vice-President, Operations facilitates the development, maintenance and monitoring of Board approved operational plans, and is responsible for supporting the President and Board of Directors by ensuring that required infrastructure and support services are in place. The Vice-President, Operations will perform the duties of the President in case of the President’s and Secretary/Treasurer’s absence, death, resignation, or inability to act, and perform other duties as assigned by the President or Board of Directors.

Candidates for Secretary/Treasurer - Chief Financial Officer

Must have served a minimum of one year on the Association Board of Directors or one year on the chapter Board of Directors as an elected officer.  The Secretary/Treasurer is the chief financial officer of the Association, serves on the Executive Council and performs the duties of the President in case of the President’s absence, death, resignation or inability to act. The Secretary/Treasurer is responsible for the preparation, review, and distribution of all minutes of the Executive Council, Board of Directors, committee and general membership meetings, including the preparation of a synopsis for all Association members. The incumbent sets goals, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that Association objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization. The Secretary/Treasurer will provide notice of all Board and Committee meetings, and is responsible for ensuring the safety and accuracy of all records and documents committed to his/her custody. The Secretary/Treasurer monitors the financial condition and oversees the financial administration of the Association, including receipts, disbursements, investments, and performance against budget. The Secretary/Treasurer should have good analytical skills and experience and ability in financial management and budget preparation. The Secretary/Treasurer oversees and reviews for Board approval all actions and policies with major financial Implications, monitors budgetary performance of the Association, recommending modifications as needed, presents to the Board of Directors an annual budget for the Association, developed in concert with the Executive Council. The Secretary/Treasurer will prepare a report of the financial affairs of the Association for the Board of Directors and general membership at each Board meeting and the annual Conference. The Secretary/Treasurer reviews for Board of Directors approval investment vehicles for the Association that fully protect the principal, and supervises the preparation and reporting of all income tax returns. The Secretary/Treasurer presents the annual audit of the Association’s finances to the Board of Directors for approval. The Secretary/Treasurer will attend all Board Meetings and other meetings as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors, and performs other duties as assigned by the President or Board of Directors.

Candidates for VP - PROGRAMS
Must have served a minimum of one year on the Association Board of Directors or one year on the chapter Board of Directors as an elected officer. The VP, Programs will serve on the Executive Council and perform the duties of President in the event that both the President and VP, Operations, are unable to act. The VP - Programs chairs the Program Council, is responsible for the educational planning and activities for the Association and performs other duties as assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.  The incumbent sets goals, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that Association objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.

Candidates for VP - MEMBERSHIP/MARKETING
Must have served a minimum of one year on the Association Board of Directors or one year on the chapter Board of Directors as an elected officer. The VP, Marketing and Membership is responsible for membership development, business sponsorship and marketing (digital, traditional, branding and public relations), and serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Council. The VP Marketing and Membership will proactively identify, pursue and secure sponsorships, partnerships, licensing agreements and cause marketing programs to support Association membership and sponsorship goals. Leverage and collaborate with external stakeholders, sponsors and partners to build community, enhance marketing capabilities, communicate messaging, and engage constituents. Develop the annual sponsorship and marketing operating plan and budget, ensuring overall budget performance and fiscal management. The VP Marketing and Membership will drive digital and traditional marketing strategy and implementation, lead and execute all digital marketing efforts including website functionality and design, website and blog content, and social medi a (Facebook/Twitter); manage the Association's branding efforts to refine branding and messaging priorities and ensure consistent execution for all content (programs and media); implement media/marketing tactics to strengthen overall brand awareness and positioning. The VP Marketing and Membership will attend all Board meetings and other meetings as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Candidates for Director - SPONSORSHIP

The Director, Sponsorship will represent sponsors to provide a direct communications link between the sponsors and the Board of Directors, and will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing and Membership. The Director, Sponsorship will also assist the Vice President, Marketing and Membership in obtaining new sponsors as directed.

Candidates for DIRECTOR - MEMBERSHIP
The Director, Membership will represent members to provide a direct communications link between the members and the Board of Directors, and will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing and Membership. The Director, Membership will also assist the Vice President, Marketing and Membership in executing programs to attract new members as directed.
