|Norman Chilton Award|
The BFMA Education Foundation created the Norman Chilton Trustee’s Excellence in Education Award to honor the BFMA Chapter that has provided top quality education opportunities for form systems professionals during the year.
Named after one of BFMA’s top educators, the Norm Chilton Award gives chapters the opportunity to gain recognition for time and effort they put into creating top-notch educational programs for their members.
How to Participate
Submit these materials to BFMA headquarters electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once submissions are received, headquarters will distribute them to the Education Foundation Trustees for voting and selection of the winning chapter. Only BFMA chapters in good standing are eligible to receive the award.

The Madison Chapter
The Madison Chapter holds three quarterly 3-hour training sessions, rather than 1 hour monthly sessions.
2009 BFMA Madison Chapter Educational Sessions:
December 2009 / January 2010
The quarterly format saves officer planning time and the 3-hour sessions provide our members with quality half-day training at least three times a year.
For over 20 years we have held an annual joint meeting with the ARMA Madison Chapter. It is an educational, breakfast meeting, and charity event.
Program Announcements are developed to promote each program. In addition, the Program Announcements and Detailed Program Recaps are published in our quarterly newsletter, Form Focus. The Program Recaps provide education to members who attend or are unable to attend the face-to-face program sessions.
The Madison Chapter offers a BFMA Symposium Scholarship each year. In 2009, the scholarship was split between Jim Bennett and Joyce Endres. Jim was a speaker at the 2009 Symposium, and Joyce attended the Association Board meeting representing the Chapter, plus represented the FSCB BOD and attended various sessions throughout the week.
We are proud of the Madison Chapter FormFocus Newsletter. Editor, Jim Pritchard must be commended for a "job more than well done”. Our newsletter is the thread that keeps communication flowing and a valuable asset to our members (and others who receive it).
Congratulations to Madison and Northwest Washington members!
