BFMA Recognition Program

BFMA’s awards program was evaluated and updated to meet the needs our members. The new BFMA Recognition Program replaces the Member Award, Chapter Award, Chapter Individual Award and Communications Award.

This Recognition Program will formally acknowledge BFMA members annually for their volunteer contributions. Their personal time and promotion of membership, sponsorship, leadership, and education resources foster positive contributions to BFMA.

Program details
The recognition program is focused on member achievements.

All BFMA members are eligible for recognition.

Member recognition will be tracked by the number of accomplishments they make within the following categories:

  1. Membership & Sponsorship
  2. Leadership & Volunteer Activities
  3. Education Achievements

The levels of recognition are as follows:

  1. Ruby - requires five accomplishment credits from at least one category
  2. Sapphire - requires ten accomplishment credits from at least two categories
  3. Emerald - requires twenty accomplishment credits from all three categories
  4. Diamond - individual member submitting the most accomplishment credits from all three categories
An unlimited number of members can achieve each level, except for Diamond, where only one winner is recognized.

The Diamond Award winner will recognized with a custom engraved award.

The prestigious Diamond Award will be presented to the recipient at the recognition luncheon at symposium. All other recognition winners will have their name printed in a recognition program or leaflet, with certificates mailed to them following symposium.
