Preparing for the ExamCFSPs have successfully prepared for the exam independently or as part of a study group. Studying for the exam requires organization, commitment to your study plan, and dedication to your goal of becoming a CFSP.
Exam OverviewThe Certification Examination for Form Systems Professionals is composed of a maximum of 250 multiple-choice, objective questions with a total testing time of four (4) hours.
The Certification Examination for Form Systems Professionals is weighted in approximately the following manner:
Content OutlineThe questions for the examination are obtained from individuals with professional expertise in form systems activities and are reviewed for construction, accuracy and appropriateness by the Form Systems Certification Board (FSCB). The FSCB, with the advice and assistance of the Professional Testing Corporation, prepares the examination.
CFSP Virtual Studyhub Group
The Certified Form Systems Professional self-study program will open on the BFMA website at the end of August. The self-study program includes a content outline with resources to support the outline as well as recorded lectures and practice quizzes. This year the study is completely self directed and there is no study group.
The 13-week self-study program covers all facets of the body of knowledge used to develop the exam. The CFSP examination of 250 multiple-choice questions covers four areas:
The studyhub provides recorded lectures and suggested readings, practice quizzes and the support of experts in the field. As an independent study offering, it is up to you how much time, effort and resources you put into it. The self-study program is all about individual preparation and individual achievement.
It is recommended but not required that you have five years of experience in form systems or a related field before sitting for the examination. Experience plus sufficient study can help you achieve certification.
