Fall forms Institute, co-located with the Document Strategy Forum, Features
Trade Show and Expanded Educational Offerings

BFMA is excited to announce our annual Fall Forms Institute will be co-located with the Document Strategy Forum. The new format will add a large trade show component to the institute and expand the educational offerings. The event will help you learn how to contribute value in difficult economic times. It will feature highly qualified speakers and four tracks that correspond with the four bodies of knowledge identified by BFMA. It will be held October 5 – 7, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago, Illinois. Attendees will have full access to the trade show, and will have the option to attend any educational session offered by the curriculum of either the Institute or the Forum.

There’s no denying that we’re all facing some rough times, financially speaking. You may have already been asked to do more with less. If so, you need to help reduce costs for your organization. BFMA educational events provide the critical learning and sharing environment that will help you achieve savings while actually improving your results.

The forms management community is all about process improvement and increased efficiency. Where properly implemented, forms management can make a huge difference in profitability and growth. Management teams that place a priority on running their businesses well and less time on money manipulation and other non-core functions are the ones that will survive the long term intact. Now is a great time to invest in forms management.

According to BFMA President Emeritus Ray Killam, CFSP, CFC, this is the time to focus on priorities that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs and position your organization for the inevitable recovery ahead. Establishing priorities for revenue growth and improving customer service will help you select the most important projects to work on. Workflow and process analysis can help you spot where improvement opportunities exist. Continued automation of forms development activities will position you for the future.

Smart companies are the ones that recognize the improvement potential that exists within their workforce even as they take steps to ensure they remain fiscally healthy. They are the ones that invest in training.

Details about the co-located Fall Forms Institute are being finalized, and will be posted as soon as they are complete.

Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to understand process efficiency and bring value to your organization!
