If one of your New Year's Resolutions was to enhance your knowledge, then you are in luck, because BFMA is offering two new webinars in January! Dustin Tauer will be presenting a webinar telling you how to collect online data on January 20th and Ray Killam will offer his expertise on developing a form management strategy on January 27th. There is still time to register for one or both sessions.

The cost for each session is $89 for BFMA members and $109 for non-members. The fee covers one "seat", that is, one Internet connection to the live presentation as well as access to the recording of the session for one-year. Multiple listeners are welcome to access the live webinar as long as there is only one Internet connection, making these webinars the perfect training tool during these difficult economic times. Collecting Online Data: What You Need and Where To Get It | Dustin Tauer

Everyone wants feedback. It might be an attendee evaluation after a conference, an informational client satisfaction survey, or quiz testing a consumer's knowledge about your products. In any case, this information needs to be gathered in an efficient and effective way. This webinar will add clarity to the process. We'll explore multiple ways to collect online data including free hosted services, PDF forms, web forms, and Flash files. The objective is to clarify what resources are needed for each technique and what limitations may arise. Web forms or Flash files are most customizable, but can be the most complex to implement. Hosted services tend to be the easiest to work with, but can have limited customization. This webinar will help you identify which method is right for you.

Developing a Forms Management Strategy | Ray Killam

This session focuses on the major strategic elements that need to be negotiated within all organizations. Gaining advance agreement from all constituents can prevent conflicts and help ensure an efficient and effective forms management function.

Many forms management programs are already tactically effective but the frequently lack the strategic focus needed to set direction. This can result in organizational conflict, silos, and a crisis of mission.

Going beyond mission statements, this examination of more that 20 strategic questions can yield insight to the magnitude of the problem. It can help you prepare a scorecard for your own program's strategic health assessment.
