Laurie Arras

Information Solutions Manager, Federal Reserve Board
Laurie Arras is the Information Solutions Manager of PCS at the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). She is responsible for turning issues into solutions. She currently is managing three projects—one of which is managing the newly formed Forms Mgmt. Group migrating forms to be electronically fillable, XML, 508-compliant forms and creating a new Forms website. Another project is the development of a Publications database. Previous to her current position, she acted as Graphics Manager for two years at FRB. Prior to that she owned PDS, Inc. for nearly 18 years where she and her staff provided consulting services to the corporate and government publishing arena in all sectors of business. She graduated from the University of Akron with degrees in Commercial Art and Business.

Clayton Cobb

Director, US Central Region
As Director, US Central Region, Clayton leads the Western region team based out of Denver and is a SharePoint technical architect. Clayton was hired for the purpose of extending the Planet Federal practice into the Western region by focusing on Denver, which is the 2nd largest Federal hub in the U.S. Clayton started out as a team of one on a small project with a government client in Denver and has grown the region to three large clients and 12 total team members with much more of each on the way. Clayton has been instrumental in establishing a strong presence in Denver where Planet was not previously known but is now recognized as the leading provider of SharePoint consulting in the Denver metropolitan area.

Before joining Planet Technologies in March of 2008, Clayton was employed by Booz Allen Hamilton, providing general IT consulting in the DoD space, primarily on the Intelligence side. Clayton spent 6 years at BAH after a tour in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as a Sergeant in the Signals Intelligence field. Clayton has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networking from Strayer University and is working towards his Master's of Business Administration at the Johns Hopkins University.

Clayton is a current Microsoft SharePoint Server MVP and former InfoPath MVP who is very active in the SharePoint community. Clayton has coordinated and led two SharePoint Saturday Denver events and actively co-leads the Colorado SharePoint User Group. Additionally, Clayton has spoken at many conferences and user groups over the last few years in order to share his knowledge and gain new friends who share the same passion for technology. Clayton has a wife, Ann, and three young children, including twin baby girls. Clayton is an avid fan of the University of Alabama and races his Mitsubishi Evo in his free time (drag, autocross, and circuit).

T.J. Furlong

Director, Department of State - Office of Directives Management
Ms. Thelma (T.J.) Furlong was appointed as the Director, Office of Directives Management in June 2000. During her tenure she managed the expansion of that office which included the development of a Department-wide forms program, management of the Undersecretary for Management's FAM-X Project to update the Foreign Affairs Manual, the development of new sections to oversee the Department's requirements under the Paperwork Reduction Act and Office of Management and Budget Regulatory requirements for Rulemaking.

Previously, Ms. Furlong worked in the Resources Management Office in the Bureau of Human Relations. She also has had an extensive federal career which has taken her to various locations in the U.S. and abroad while working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Treasury, Department of Navy, and the United States Agency for International Development. Ms. Furlong is also very active in her community where she holds senior leadership positions with her church and the Boy Scouts of America.

A native of Maryland, Ms. Furlong holds degrees in Information Technology from the University of Maryland, Criminal Law from Anne Arundel Community College, and a Masters in Business Administration from University of Maryland.

Rod Hodgman

VP Marketing, Avoka Technologies
Rod has been a software executive in large and small companies for over 25 years. Prior to joining Avoka he was Co-founder and VP of Marketing at Covergence, a leading provider of security and control solutions for Voice over IP (VOIP) and before that was Vice President of Marketing at Macromedia where he was responsible for bringing the first versions of Adobe Flex to market. Currently he is focused on bringing Avoka SmartForm Suite for LiveCycle ES to market. SmartForm Suite, a new generation of productivity solutions for the LiveCycle ES platform, empowers business teams to quickly build, deploy and manage LiveCycle ES customer interaction solutions without incurring IT resource constraints and lengthy release cycles.

Ray Killam

Ray H. Killam, CFSP, CFC is President of Essociates Group, Inc, a forms management consulting company. Ray is a past-president of BFMA and serves on the BFMA Education Foundation Board of Trustees. He was presented the Jo Warner Award in 2001. Ray holds a BBA-Economics from Washburn University, an MBA from George Mason University, and a Masters Certificate in eCommerce from Creighton University.

Lisa Lee is the manager of Forms Management at Standard Insurance Company. Her team is responsible for managing the forms of several companies. She has directed and participated in a wide variety of forms projects. She currently serves BFMA as president emeritus. She was awarded the Award of Excellence by BFMA in 2009.

Al has severed as the Nations Capital Chapter Treasure for 9 years and was awarded the BFMA Award of Excellence in 2006.
