After graduating from UCLA in 1984, Phillip started his career with Teradyne Corporation where he was responsible for the design and implementation of the operating environment for Teradyne's VLSI test systems on top of Sun's Solaris. His software engineering career continued at Locus Corporation, where he participated in the development of the AIX operating system in addition to spearheading an automated approach to internationalization of AIX. Phillip also possesses extensive networking expertise, with several years of experience in the area of UNIX Operating Systems.
