2017 BFMA ANNUAL CONFERENCE / DOCUMENT Strategy Forum: Tracks

BFMA will be providing two educational tracks: Forms Management (500 series) and Forms Technology Solutions (600 series).

FORMS TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS (600s)

Join us to learn more about how technology impacts forms management, find out about solution strategies to address digital form challenges, and leverage opportunities for your forms management program to thrive in this brave new world (digital platform options, mobile applications, document accessibility, enterprise management integration, user experience). In a world of constantly changing technology, the form interface may evolve, but the functionality behind that remains the same – to support organizational business processes. 

FORMS BODY OF KNOWLEDGE (500s)

BFMA has a new comprehensive body of knowledge (BOK) for forms management covering ten different content areas. This BOK will become the basis for education and training within BFMA, leading to a stepped certificate program and a modified CFSP certification.  These sessions provide an overview of the BOK and certificate programs as well as sessions covering 6 different content areas.

FUTURE OF INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (400s)

Innovative, new ideas are harbingers of change. These sessions examine the cutting-edge practices in information management, the winning combo with information security, analytics, process automation and data governance. Next-generation information management is about how we combine these trends for the biggest impact. Information pros will be exposed to the next chapter in information management.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT STRATEGY (300s)

Information is your most important business asset. Leaders of tomorrow understand this. This track showcases some of the best, real-world experiences on how to be strategic with information, how to sell information management as a top-business value and how to evaluate investments in established and emerging technologies in the space, including SharePoint, ECM and cloud applications.

CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS 2.0 (200s)

Explore the evolving landscape of customer communications—the bedrock of any customer experience. These sessions highlight emerging trends, like interactive communications, multi-channel behaviors, personalization tools and intelligent, customer-centric design. Seasoned pros will learn how to prioritize their customer communications management investments and internal resources for the future.

MANAGING CONTENT & CHANNELS (100s)

Customer engagement is built upon the content we create, use, and manage. This track looks at synchronizing content management, systems and channels across all lines of business. Senior business leaders will explore the world of unstructured content, building digital business processes and creating on-the-fly content no matter the delivery channel.
